Doug McVadon

Doug McVadon has been a consultant with Dorrier Underwood since 1997, working with executives and managers to achieve breakthroughs in communication, performance and productivity. He is a seasoned public speaker and program leader, with experience in Europe and Asia.

Doug has worked with entrepreneurs and Fortune 500 firms in a variety of fields, including architecture, healthcare, manufacturing, banking, pharmaceuticals and biotechnology. His expertise includes coaching executives, teambuilding, training groups in effective communication and leading large-scale culture change initiatives.

Prior to joining the Dorrier Underwood team, Doug had a distinguished 18-year career in broadcast news, beginning as a radio newsman, then moving into television as an anchor, editor, and news producer.

He holds a B.A. in Psychology with Honors from the University of California, Santa Cruz.

Doug lives in Charlotte, North Carolina, with his wife and teenage daughter. He loves to travel and has visited 47 of the 50 United States and 24 countries. Besides traveling, he is passionate about live music and fantasy baseball.
