Doug is a highly sought after public speaker and has led seminars for over 20,000 people in the United States and Europe. His expertise includes coaching executives, teambuilding, training groups in effective communication and leading courses as part of large-scale culture change initiatives.

He has worked with a wide variety of clients and industries, demonstrating a particular mastery in achieving positive outcomes with contentious issues in group situations.

Prior to joining the Dorrier Underwood team, Doug had a distinguished 18-year career in broadcast news, beginning as a radio newsman, then moving into television as an anchor, producer and news director.

Doug lives in Charlotte, North Carolina, with his wife and daughter. He loves to travel and has visited 46 of the 50 United States and 23 countries. He is passionate about learning and people, and thinks he could have beaten that guy Ken on Jeopardy.
